Beautiful Girlhood
For any mother who parents a daughter, I thought this article was incredible and totally captured the essence of today’s society and the downward pull it has on our future women.

Wow! I’ve never really given it much thought, but this article made so much sense! Christmas is coming… and I’m sensing a direction.
Thanks, Gina!

There is so much to think about, Gina raising our children. I am listening to Denny Kenaston right now this one certain message on the Godly Home series. He just said, “Once you let something in, its very hard, near impossible to undo the damage.” Meaning to me, if we do things without prayer, let things into our home, then in 2 years get a revelation that it is damaging our children, the damage is done. The Lord can always help and there is always hope but this is the time to be praying about what is influencing our children. Now is the time! We are forming the next generation! Thank you for caring about these things, Gina. Its a very extreme mission we are on. Some may say, Oh for goodness sake, its a doll! Or its just this or just that. Its dangerous ground to let just anything in especially in the times we are living in now. The world wants our children and we have to fight for them. It may be the biggest fight we ever put up. But if we win it will have been worth it all. Sorry this comment is so long. You hit something I have been thinking about too with this post!

I have done this.. Let things in without prayer and have been sorry. We will make mistakes, Im not saying we wont. But in a general sense, to be prayerful about what we buy for them, what we let them watch, see, influence them. Didnt want to sound uppity in that comment! lol

That is a really good article. The attitudes kids can pick up on just from a doll! I know I would change things about what I’ve allowed in with Lydia, and she’s only 4! But thank God that He shows us and allows us to change things. Thanks for the article.
